Mornington Peninsula Athletic Club provides a supportive environment, making athletics accessible, enjoyable and rewarding, from training nights to race day.

Mornington Peninsula Athletic Club was founded in 1975 (originally as Peninsula Road Runners). Over time, the club has grown alongside the Mornington Peninsula community, and whilst our early roots were in distance running, today we proudly support Track, Field, Cross Country, Road Racing and Relay events, offering clear pathways for athletes at every stage of their athletic journey.
We are a club that prides itself on positive social connection and community within athletics, and whilst some of our members compete at State, National and International levels, others come for fitness, confidence, and social connectedness. No matter the goal, everyone trains and races in the same club colours.
We welcome all ages, abilities, and backgrounds, from first-timers to elite athletes. Everyone is supported and welcomed.
Improvement looks different for everyone. Our culture values encouragement, respect, and teamwork, celebrating effort and personal progress, not just podiums.
MPAC is a club built on connection. Through social events, shared competition, volunteer opportunities and club traditions, we foster a positive community based around good sportsmanship, inclusivity, and camaraderie.
MPAC offers structured training and coaching support for athletes who want guidance, skill development, social connectivity and progression.
MPAC provides a clear and welcoming pathway for athletes transitioning from Little Athletics, as well as Junior athletes entering Senior and Open level competition.
Joining MPAC means gaining access to a variety of competitions and events throughout the year.
Our Women in Sport program focuses on creating safe, welcoming environments, increasing participation, and providing flexible opportunities for women and girls to train, connect and stay involved.
MPAC welcomes para-athletes of all abilities, offering inclusive training, coaching support and pathways into Athletics Victoria competition. Para-athletes train in a supportive environment, with flexibility and individual needs supported.
Athletics at MPAC is built around community as much as competition. Members connect through group training, our Falls Creek Training Camp, volunteering opportunities and relaxed social catch-ups.
