MPAC is home to a highly skilled team of coaches to help take your athletics to new heights

Within these athletes, I have coached 16 athletes to qualify for the Athletics Australia Target Talent Program. Coaching is available to athletes aged 12+ Athletics Victoria MPAC registered athletes. Sessions are designed and delivered to a level of athlete looking to commit to athletics and be dedicated to work towards achieving State and National qualifications.
I also assist remote athletes with training and development programs to improve speed, efficiency, explosive speed and ballistic response for both athletics and other sports.
Training Fees:
Specialist Individual Training – $60phr
Small Squad Environment (where position available) – $100pm (1 session pw) or $200pm (2 sessions pw) – This includes all associated external self conducted training sessions and strength & conditioning programs

Rachel is a new coach to MPAC. She competes for Box Hill AC but is doing some coaching for us.
She is a dedicated and motivated coach with a passion for developing and helping her athletes achieve their goals. Her coaching philosophy is centred on providing an opportunity for her athletes to try a variety of track and field events, in a fun and challenging environment as well as sharing her passion for athletics.
Rachel has excellent technical knowledge across all of the multi events and this, combined with her training program skills and positive personality, makes her a complete all-round coach.
Rachel is a qualified athletics coach and has a bachelor of Sports Development. She has a Certificate III in Sport and Recreation and a current First Aid certificate and Working With Children Check.
Rachel has been coaching athletics at primary and secondary schools for the past ten years. Rachel has also been involved in the Athletics Australia IAAF Nestle Health Active Kids Athletics program and has coached children of various ages and abilities at a number of primary schools in Melbourne.
Aside from coaching, Rachel is a member of the Box Hill Athletic Club and is a national level multi and individual event athlete. Rachel specialises in the Heptathlon, a two-day event comprising seven track and field events – 100m hurdles, high jump, shot put, javelin, long jump, and the 200m and 800m running events.
